3. Set the communications parameters to:

• • 9600 baud

• • 8 bits

• • 1 stop bit

• • No parity

4. From your communication program, issue a connect command to establish a connection

with the controller, and then press the Enter key. You should see the CLI prompt, which

looks similar to

SWXRC>

From this prompt, you may issue your CLI commands. For further information regarding

CLI commands, reports, etc., refer to the SWXRC RAID Array Controller User’s Guide (EK-

SMCS1-UG).
