3. Appendix 1: Boxed Processor Support

The Intel® Server Board S5000PAL supports the Dual–Core Intel® Xeon® processor 5000 sequence

(5000 & 5100 series) and the Quad-Core Intel® Xeon® processors (5300 series).

The following boxed processors are designed and validated for use with the SR2500 (2U) and

SR1500/SR1550 (1U) chassis:

Note: “xxxx” in product code represents the processor number, for example 5150 is the 2.67GHz

5100 series processor, E5320 is the 1.86 GHz 5300 series processor.
